Philadelphia criminal lawyer Peter L. Johnston represented a young Philadelphia man accused of a serious aggravated assault that occurred in mid-2011.  Peter had previously gotten him released on house arrest and earned him the ability to attend work and religious services.  By emphasizing weaknesses in the Commonwealth’s case, Peter was able to convince the court that in exchange for his open guilty plea, he would be immediately released from house arrest and serve the remainder of his sentence on parole and probation.   The unfortunate incident was an aberration for the otherwise respectful young man who can now get on with his life and hopefully build a good future for himself.
