Client Success Story
Peter L. Johnston, Esquire represented a Philadelphia man who was accused of possessing a firearm and attempting to kill another man with it. In a bench trial before a Philadelphia Common Pleas judge, Mr. Johnston was able to convince the court that the complaining witness was not sufficiently credible, that there was sufficient evidence to support his client’s claim that he was not the shooter and that a gun was not recovered from his client. As a result, Mr. Johnston was able to convince the court that there was sufficient reasonable doubt which led the court to find his client not guilty of all charges.
