CLIENT SUCCESS STORY: Johnston helps woman on probation resolve alleged violation

Philadelphia criminal defense attorney Peter L. Johnston, Esquire represented a Philadelphia woman jailed on a probation violation and helped her resolve said violation and enable her to be freed from custody. She had been sentenced to probation on a minor drug-possession case after having spent significant time in custody but with just days remaining on probation was jailed on a new charge. Mr. Johnston convinced the judge in her prior case that she had effectively served her sentence and that her detainer should be lifted. The judge agreed and ruled that her case was terminated and lifted the detainer. She was able to post bail on her new case and is now free.
