CLIENT SUCCESS STORY: Johnston obtains A.R.D. for Philadelphia woman in Delaware County DUI arrest

Peter L. Johnston, Esquire successfully represented a Philadelphia social worker charged with her first DUI offense in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. After work one afternoon, his client enjoyed happy hour a little too much. Fortunately, she did not injure herself or anyone else but she was pulled over and charged with driving under the influence. Mr. Johnston was able to have her placed in Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (A.R.D.), a diversionary program where the case against her is withdrawn upon completion of the program and the matter is expunged from her record. All she will need to do is attend two classes, perform forty hours of community service, pay program costs and avoid additional arrests. In the end, she will avoid jail time and be able to emerge from the incident with a clean criminal record.
