CLIENT SUCCESS STORY: Johnston recovers money for client’s shoulder injury

Peter L. Johnston, Esquire recovers $45,000 for a Philadelphia man who suffers debilitating shoulder injury while walking in a municipal playground. The municipality had failed to adequately secure a utility hole cover causing man to fall into the hole when he stepped in it. In addition, the hole was concealed from view by overgrown grass surrounding it. The man, a late middle-aged military veteran, injured his right shoulder after landing hard on it and significantly aggravated prior lower back and neck injuries. The shoulder injury was diagnosed as a torn rotator cuff.
