Peter L. Johnston, Esquire represented a Philadelphia professional who who was charged with driving under the influence in suburban Bucks County. Police alleged that he had traces of marijuana in his system. The arrest was his client’s first. Nevertheless, Mr. Johnston was able to convince the District Attorney’s Office to have his client placed into the accelerated rehabilitated disposition program which involved classes, a period of probation and a brief license suspension. Upon completion of the program, the case was withdrawn and expunged from his record. As a result, he now has his license back and he did not incur a criminal record from the arrest.
