CLIENT SUCCESS STORY: Johnston helps cyclist struck by unidentified vehicle recover

Peter L. Johnston, Esquire recovers significant cash settlement for young Philadelphia bicyclist injured by a hit and run driver who sped away from the scene. With no way to identify the offending vehicle and with his client not having an automobile insurance policy of his own to pay his bills, Mr. Johnston was forced to pursue a claim on his client’s behalf against the Pennsylvania Financial Responsibility Assigned Claims Plan which provides coverage for individuals who are injured by other drivers and have no other means of recovery for their injuries. The client endured nearly nine months of treatment for neck and back injuries and accumulated more than $20,000.00 in medical bills. However, Mr. Johnston was able to obtain a settlement for his client in which the medical bills were paid for an amount less than $5000.00, leaving a sufficient amount for his client’s pain and suffering.
